Does the baby need sedation for the procedure?
No, sedation is not required. The insertion of the device is a simple procedure. You can watch instructional videos on how to insert the RAS device for guidance.
How can I get the device?
You can order the device at CraniRehab.com/N-plane. We currently distribute in the USA and are working to expand availability to Mexico, Argentina, and India.
How long does treatment with RAS take?
Treatment duration depends on the severity of the nasal deformity. Mild cases may require about 4 weeks, while more severe cases can take up to 12 weeks.
Is the system called N-Plane?
The official name of the system is the Rhinoplasty Appliance System (RAS), but its commercial name is N-Plane.
Do we need to use a maxillary appliance along with the RAS system?
No, a maxillary appliance is not necessarily required. Its use depends on the professional’s clinical judgment.
Does the RAS system affect maxillary segments?
Yes, the RAS system helps align the maxillary segments. By repositioning the nasal septum, which is connected to the maxilla, it aids in better alignment.
